Terms of service

Last updated September 2, 2026

What you are buying, what ATS Reset does and does not do, how the 90-day cycle works, and how refunds are handled. Plain language, no traps.

1. What ATS Reset is

ATS Reset is a self-service tool. When you buy a plan, we generate a personalised data deletion request based on the jurisdiction you select, and provide privacy contact details for the hiring technology vendors your plan covers.

You send every request yourself. ATS Reset never contacts any vendor on your behalf, and never transmits your request to anyone. We are not your agent and do not act for you in any dealing with a vendor.

2. What ATS Reset is not

  • Not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, and using ATS Reset does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
  • Not a guarantee of deletion. Whether a company deletes your data is entirely that company’s decision, and some may lawfully refuse or partially refuse.
  • Not a guarantee of employment outcomes. Nothing here promises more interviews or a job.
  • Not a credit repair or identity service.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

4. Plans and payment

All plans are one-time payments. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and nothing to cancel.

  • Free — an estimated exposure figure. No contacts, no request.
  • Reset — your personalised request plus privacy contacts for a fixed selection of systems, listed on the pricing page.
  • Reset Pro — your request plus every vendor in our database, web-form destinations, the bulk address tool, and follow-up request generation.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and include no additional fees from us. You may upgrade an active Reset cycle to Reset Pro by paying the difference.

5. The 90-day Reset cycle

Paid access runs for 90 days from purchase. During that period you can view your request, access the contacts your plan covers, and track your progress.

When a cycle ends:

  • Your progress history remains in your account.
  • Access to paid contact details ends.
  • Buying again creates a new cycle. It does not overwrite or erase the old one.

6. Refunds

The product is delivered the moment your request is generated and your contacts are unlocked — that is the entire thing you are buying, and it cannot be returned once seen.

Our approach:

  • Before onboarding is completed — if you have paid but not yet generated your request and unlocked your contacts, we will refund in full on request.
  • After your request and contacts have been generated — refunds are at our discretion. If the product did not work as described, tell us and we will make it right.
  • Duplicate or accidental purchases — refunded in full.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. A refunded purchase ends the associated Reset cycle and its access. Ask through our contact page.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Republish, resell, scrape or redistribute the privacy contact information provided to you. It is licensed for your personal use.
  • Share your account with others.
  • Use the service to harass any organisation or individual, or to submit requests on behalf of someone else without their authority.
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other customers, or to circumvent the access controls on paid content.
  • Provide false information about your identity.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, without refund where the breach is deliberate.

8. Accuracy of contact information

Vendor privacy addresses and web-form destinations change without notice. We maintain them on a best-effort basis and correct errors when we find them. We cannot guarantee that every destination is current at the moment you use it. Tell us if you find one that has changed.

9. Intellectual property

The site, its design, and its written content belong to ATS Reset. Your generated request is yours to use, send and keep.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that any company will act on your request, or that using the service will change any hiring outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost employment opportunities or lost income.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and material changes will be communicated by email. Changes do not apply retroactively to a Reset cycle you have already purchased.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which ATS Reset is established, without regard to conflict of law rules.
